The HMV logo, located at the bottom of the sleeve. The logo contained a picture of the dog 'Nipper' listening to a gramophone with the words "His Master's Voice" underneath, To the right of the logo read: 78 R.P.M. RECORD

This sleeve was red and white in colour and the front showed people dancing underneath the words:

"HIS MASTER'S VOICE"

The rear of the sleeve had the same slogan on top but underneath advertised other HMV artists that changed over time.

This sleeve also resembled the 45rpm types 3 and 4 and was the most common one used for Elvis records.
