Elvis poured hius heart into both sides of this single. Both ballads, the A-side was a hit for Willie Nelson and Elvis' rendition stands up on it's own. The B-side a song written by Elvis' friend Red West, seems very close to home lyrically.

This new single proved that Elvis could still do it when presented with high quality material. The A-side was a rockin' number that even though it was said Elvis found it difficult to do, he sang it numerous times live from this point on. The rather splendid ballad on the flip-side however was sang very rarely live and got a bit lost under the weight of it's neighbour.
