LP Label  Detail Change!

RCA releases a 'New Black' label

LP Sleeve detail change:

In august 1980, RCA began to press re-issues of older albums on yet another label.

This time 'New Black' which is different to the original 'Black' label that was used previously.

These labels stated 'Manufactured By RCA Limited' on the bottom. Later pressings would change this to read: 'Marketed By RCA Limited'.

This label and sometimes the 'Blue elvis label' were used with older surplus sleeves that had stickers applied to them to revert them to the international catalogue.
