This LP was originally set aside for release by RCA in June 1963.
At the time, British fans were not happy that two songs recorded in 1960: "Flaming Star" and "Summer Kisses, Winter Tears" had remained unreleased up to this point.
Albert Hand, who was the editor of the UK fanzine 'Elvis Monthly' applied pressure on RCA UK to correct this. It was also decided to add the contents of the now deleted 1957 10" LP: "Loving You". Later, a couple of giant hits were added as a filler: "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" and "It's Now Or Never".
Throughout 1963, 'Elvis Monthly' printed updates for the 'upcoming' new album, but it was never released! (see pics below)
In April 1965, the editor announced he was the proud owner of the test pressing of 'RD 7586'.
As a footnote: The songs were released on the 1965 LP; "Flaming Star and Summer Kisses".
