This album is not a re-issue of the original christmas album. Firstly the four gospel tracks were omitted and replaced with two new songs: 'If Every Day Was Like Christmas' originally released as an A-sided single in 1966 and 'Mama Liked the Roses' which recently accompanied the 'Wonder of You' single in July.

This album entered the charts nearly a year later on December 4, 1971, peaking at no. 7.
