It originally came in a 10" format and contained only eight songs, seven from the movie and one extra track.

 

The U.S. version was released as a standard 12" LP, with twelve tracks in total.

The extra four songs that were omitted were released in the U.K. on the Extended Play, 'Elvis Presley' (RCX 104)

 

This album entered the UK charts on August 31, 1957, peaking at no. 1.
