This LP was originally due for release by RCA in June 1963.

British fans were not happy that two songs recorded in 1960: 'Flaming Star' and 'Summer Kisses, Winter Tears' remained unreleased up to this point.

Albert Hand, who was the editor of the UK fanzine 'Elvis Monthly' applied pressure on RCA UK to correct this. It was also decided to add the contents of the now deleted 1957 10" LP: 'Loving You'.

Throughout 1963, 'Elvis Monthly' printed updates for the new album, but it was never released! (see below)

In April 1965 the editor announced he was the proud owner of the test pressing of 'RD 7586' and two other songs were added: 'Are You Lonesome Tonight?' and 'It's Now Or Never'.
