The artwork used for the album sleeve was completely different from the U.S. release. The UK version used a photograph taken during a publicity shoot for "Love Me Tender"
It contained eight christmas songs and four religious tracks that had already appeared in July on the extended play: 'Peace in the Valley'
The back cover originally had four photographs which promoted Elvis' 'Loving You' album, plus two extended plays 'Peace in the Valley' (RCX 101) and 'Elvis Presley' (RCX 104). The centre photograph showed a still from his latest motion picture: 'Jailhouse Rock' from M.G.M.
These photographs were omitted on later re-issues.
NOTE: This LP was issued using the matrix number H2PP. (H2 = 1957 PP = Mono LP)

This album was kept in stock by issuing re-pressings with the same catalogue number until it was deleted by RCA in November 1970.
