The "Speedway" soundtrack was the last new album to be issued using the black label, red dot logo. His co-star was Nancy Sinatra, who had a solo song included titled; "Your Groovy Self". An Elvis highlight was a track titled; "Let Yourself Go" that he would revisit later in his NBC TV Special.
NOTE: This LP was issued using the matrix number WPRM. WP = 1968 RM = Mono LP

This album was kept in stock by issuing re-pressings with the same catalogue number until it was deleted by RCA in May 1971.

NOTE: "Speedway" released in August, was the last new album to be pressed using the 19mm press ring circle. Therefore any repressed older album with the 32mm press ring circle, irrespective of what the label might say regarding tax codes, was pressed after August 1968.
This can cause confusion when a repressed album has an old for example; M/T tax code on the label, but somehow has the 32mm press ring circle? The answer lies in the run out grooves of some LP's. The J/T tax code which was used between March and November 1968, can be found etched in the run out grooves at 12 O'Clock. If the etched tax code is not visible then it was repressed after November 1968 when no tax code was used.
