This studio album contained material close to Elvis' heart, spiritual music. The last time he dipped into this genre was back in 1957 with the "Peace in the Valley" EP. Vocally he was in supreme condition during these gospel sessions and there is a real sincerity in his voice that comes across to the listener.

NOTE: This LP was issued using the matrix number L2PY. L2 = 1960 PY = Stereo LP

This album was kept in stock by issuing re-pressings with the same catalogue number

until it was deleted by RCA in April 1969.
