The original mono album had been deleted from catalogue since September 1970. RCA updated the iconic front sleeve with a publicity shot from the 1968 TV Special. The tracks were not issued in mono, but in "electronic stereo".

A re-pressing of this LP released after Elvis died entered the UK charts on September 10, 1977, peaking at no. 27.
