This album was originally released in the UK on the HMV label. It was supposedly released due to pressure applied by the U.K. magazine 'Elvis Monthly' and it's Record Club. After RCA took over from HMV in the UK, fans found it difficult to obtain this 'missing' album unless they bought it from abroad at increased prices. The monthly tried to get its readers (estimated at 400,000) to guarantee to buy a copy. The editor even promised to buy 1000 copies! It bore the same front cover as the original U.S. version.
